HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING
1. Select your chosen tour
2. Check availability by e-mailing us or calling 01772 713 886
3. Complete and sign the booking form and return it to:

with:

The full amount of the tour price - if you are making a booking less than 12 weeks before the start of the tour. We will confirm your booking in writing.

or:

If you are making a booking 12 weeks or more before the start of the tour - a deposit of £250.00 per person, which will form part of your payment. We will confirm your booking in writing. An invoice for the balance will be sent to you with the due date by which it must be paid (normally 8 weeks before the start of your tour).

All payments must be made in pounds sterling and all cheques must be drawn on a UK clearing bank.All other forms of payment

including Euro cheques and foreign currency will incur additional bank charges. These additional charges will be charged to your account. Foreign currency payments will be converted to sterling on the day that we receive payment. Any shortfall will be notified to you in writing. If you would like to make an electronic transfer of funds please request method details from the Toucan Birding Tours office. Your money will be held in a trust fund until the completion of the tour.

The PayPal facility can be used on the "Payment Information" page (see button on left hand side of this page) if sending a deposit or making a payment balance transaction more than 12 weeks prior to the start of the tour. Any charges applicable will be added to the balance of your account payable, and will be invoiced as appropriate.

Full payment for the tour can be made by PayPal via the appropriate tour itinerary page if subscription is less than 12 weeks before the tour commences. Charges applicable are automatically added to the account.

OUR TERMS.

CANCELLATION: Notice of cancellation can only be accepted in writing from the person who made the original booking and will take effect on the day received by Toucan Birding Tours. Cancellations more than 56 days before departure will result in loss of deposit only.
Thereafter the following charges will apply:
29 – 56 days 75% of total price.
0 – 28 days 100% of total price.

TOUR CANCELLATIONS: Should there be insufficient reservations for any tour, we reserve the right to cancel and make a full refund of all monies paid to us.
Alternatively: The tour may be offered to run as planned, but with a surcharge subject to written agreement by the clients.

DELAYS AND CHANGES IN ITINERARY AND ACCOMMODATION: All efforts will be made to operate the tour as advertised, but situations outside our control may arise which necessitate changes. In such circumstances, we reserve the right to alter or curtail the itinerary as necessary. We cannot be held responsible for any delay to your flights, or the consequences thereof.

RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITY: We have taken all possible care to ensure that the tours printed in the brochure and on the website have been properly arranged. However, we act only as agents for the passenger with respect to all transportation and hotels. Therefore we accept no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity in connection with services of hotels, ground agents or any means of transport used in carrying out the tours, carrying the passengers, or in carrying out tour arrangements. We cannot accept any liability for any changes in schedule forced upon us or any loss, damage or expense resulting from: sickness, weather, strike, closure of airports, financial failure of airlines, acts of terrorism, war, quarantine, acts of God or any other causes beyond our control. We reserve the right to send home, at their own expense, any person not conducting himself or herself in a manner compatible with the satisfactory operation of the tour. Toucan Birding Tours will not be liable for any refund or compensation should this situation arise.

DEPOSITS: The deposit must be made at the time of booking. Deposits secure your place on a tour and cover ground arrangements only. Toucan Birding Tours requests £250.00 per person in order to reserve a place on any tour.

FINANCIAL PROTECTION: In compliance with Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992, Toucan Birding Tours operates a Trustee Account for your consumer protection. This means that any funds are held in a trust fund until the completion of a tour.

FLIGHTS: We do not include the cost of international airfare in our prices and deposits do not cover the cost of any flight tickets. Participants should only purchase tickets once they have received confirmation of the departure from Toucan Birding Tours. We are able to give help and advice regarding international flights.
